Miranda | Senior Session {Folsom Senior Photographer}

Last month we had the privilege of capturing Miranda's senior portraits. We took everything from the casual posed shots, to candid cap & gown photos. Miranda looked stunning! She had her makeup and hair done by our hand-picked makeup artist, Paula. Paula definitely knew how to bring out Miranda's green eyes!

We kept the earth tone theme going by taking her to a couple of our favorite rustic locations. Can you believe these are so close to our studio?! Here's a quick peek at our session. Congratulations on your graduation Miranda!

Eddie & Stacy Wedding Photos {Northern California Wedding Photographer}

We had to share this quick wedding shoot we did this past year. Eddie and Stacy came in to our studio dressed to the nines! This photo session was a very different experience than the hectic energy that weddings tend to have. It was so nice to just have the couple alone & really focusing on each other!

We're so glad we were able to capture this moment in time for this beautiful couple. We wish the happiest of days to Eddie & Stacy!

Tara & Alex - Maternity Photo Session at the American River {Folsom Maternity Photographer}

We are loving how many couples are expecting this time of year! Tara and Alex came in this past week and we fell in love with their maternity session. They were a dream to work with, and so down-to-earth. Tara makes pregnancy look so easy! She was flawless!

We loved that Tara chose a bold-printed, off-the-shoulder maxi romper. It accentuated her belly & definitely matched her personality. It was flowy and elegant, and was a symbol of femininity and motherhood. The colors worked so well with the different locations we photographed at.

Folsom was so incredibly hot that day. The couple wasn't hesitant at all to get into that water! It made for some really unique & magical photos. We're sure your little one will be just as adventurous! Congratulations you two! And thank you for trusting us with capturing this amazing time in your lives!

Sweetest of Summers - Historic Folsom {Folsom Children Photography}

One of our favorite sessions we've done recently was with a little girl named Kate. We just have to share the photos with you! She came to the studio in an adorable summery pink dress, with a cute white bow in her hair! Although it was a hot Folsom day, we went to a couple of great locations & had so much fun laughing & using different props in the photos.

Our favorite location of the day had some beautiful pink roses. I love how they matched with Kate's light pink dress! This is where her true personality came through & she had a lot of fun posing with the flowers. Some of my favorite shots were of her walking through the garden, we're a big fan of 'in the moment' photos here at Luminis. The light was just beautiful!

Near the end of the session, we grabbed some chocolate ice cream (gotta have the waffle cone!) from the shop across the street & went to town! Oh to be a kid during the summer! It was such a great end to this warm day. Thanks for being so sweet, Kate!
